Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

A free service available to all Mitchell College students, faculty, and staff.

Requesting Books and Videos

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to request materials from other libraries at no charge.  All you need is the Library barcode on the back of your Mitchell College photo ID.

Step 1: Search the Library Catalog

The Mitchell College Library shares its catalog with 30 other libraries in the state.  Start here for fastest results.

Step 2: Search Libraries Worldwide

Still can't find what you need?  Search the world!

Step 3: Submit an ILL Request Form

Step 4 is necessary if you can only find the item you need in WorldCat.  All other requests can be completed online using your Library barcode.

Email this form to askLIS@mitchell.edu or deliver it to the Library main desk.  We'll email when the item arrives.

Requesting Articles

Found a citation but need full text?  Most libraries will send copies of articles via email, fax, or mail upon request.  We will gladly submit a request for you and let you know when the article arrives.
