Lending Policies for Alumni & Community Patrons

 

CCALD Reciprocal Borrowing Program

Faculty and staff from participating member libraries may utilize their CCALD library cards at the Mitchell College Library. 

Please first visit your home institution's library to request a CCALD card.  With a current CCALD card and a valid photo ID, you may register for privileges at the Mitchell College Library on a semester-by-semester basis during our special services hours.

Restrictions

The following items may not be borrowed by CCALD patrons.

  • Course Reserve materials
  • Media equipment
  • Non-circulating collections including reference, periodicals, and archives

The following services are not extended to CCALD patrons at this time:

  • Interlibrary loan
  • Computer/internet access
  • Wireless access
  • Printing

Loan Periods

Automated overdue notices will be sent as a courtesy via email.

Overdue Fines

A maximum of $25 per item in overdue fines will be assigned.  Unpaid fines will be reported to the patron's home institution and may result in suspension of borrowing privileges.

Replacement Fees

The following charges apply to items damaged or not returned.  Market price prevails when available (this can be higher or lower than the fees listed below).  Unpaid replacement fees will be reported to the patron's home institution and may result in suspension of borrowing privileges.
