What is media sharing?
Media refers to video, images, sound, and the like. Lots of websites are setup for the sole purpose of sharing media while others have built-in media sharing features.
Why should I use a media sharing site?
While Facebook and other online tools let you post photos and videos, it can be helpful to store them in one central place if you've got a sizable collection. Also, different sites have different policies with respect to content ownership. Once you post something online, do you want to share it with the general public? Will you want to remove it later and know that the site isn't storing somewhere? These are all things to consider when choosing a social media outlet.
