Social Activism requires students to critically observe the world around them, explore deeply the roots, processes and web of connections underlying an issue. Social activism also requires students to imagine and create a way to impact or effect change on an issue.

Recognizing such inequalities and injustice requires putting oneself into another’s shoes, seeing a situation from the viewpoint of another group, thus offering multiple perspectives and solutions.
