  • CD's are available in the library music collection and course reserve section. Only download 1 audio file per cd (academic purposes only)
  • iTunes, Amazon or other online music store (purchase individual song titles for small fee)

  • Insert or embed video (see tutorial )
  • Hyperlink  (will save file space and avoid copyright infringement) 

PowerPoint Slide Tips

  • TRUSTED IMAGES (Lots!)
  • Clean and fill slide
  • Bulleted Points/Slide Titles (if needed)
  • Select one background
  • No more than 3 fonts (Titles, bulleted points, Citations) 
  • No animation
  • Contrast background with font color (Readable)
  • Balance slide (Don't center image with words to side)
  • Check spelling and grammar
  • Use online resources to learn pronunciations (google, howjsay)

Presenter Tips

  • Appropriate attire 
  • Choose quiet location 
  • Think about background lighting
  • Check sound volume
  • Be ready 15 minutes prior to class presentations
  • Equipment ready (fully charged or plugged into outlet)

  • Be attentive and take notes
  • Ask questions at end of presentation
