Below you will find solutions to commonly reported problems with login to the Mariner Mail LIVE system.

First Time Login

Username Not Recognized
This could mean that you have entered your LIVE ID incorrectly or that there is not a LIVE account setup for you yet.  The correct LIVE ID format for alumni who graduated in Spring 2009 or earlier is lastname_firstinitial@alumni.mitchell.edu.  The correct LIVE ID format for current students (registered for classes during Summer 2009 or later) is firstname.lastname@my.mitchell.edu.

If neither of these LIVE ID formats works for you, please contact the Support Center (supportcenter@mitchell.edu; 860-701-5190) to report the problem.

Login After Registration

If you have logged in successfully in the past and have gone through the registration process for your new Mariner Mail LIVE account, you may experience the following problems.

Username Not Recognized
The correct LIVE ID format for alumni who graduated in Spring 2009 or earlier is lastname_firstinitial@alumni.mitchell.edu.  The correct LIVE ID format for current students (registered for classes during Summer 2009 or later) is firstname.lastname@my.mitchell.edu.

Incorrect Password
Click the "Forgot your password?" link just under the login area.  You will be prompted to reset your password either by using your location information and secret answer or by having password reset instructions sent to you by email to the alternate email address you designated during the email registration process.
