Welcome to your Honors Research Guide. This guide is designed to help you with the research for your Honors Thesis. Here you will find links to library resources, tips and strategies to aid your research, and an easy way to contact librarians for help!

Tips for Research

Library Databases:

  • Use Ebsco Discovery to do a broad search of multiple resources.
  • Use Subject specific databases for more focused searching.
  • De-select the Full Text option while searching
  • Look at the Subject Terms in the article record for additional search terms.
  • Look at the Reference pages of an article for additional sources.
  • Use a Bibliographic software tool like Zotero or Mendeley to organize your sources and create citations.
