Course Reserves & Electronic Course Materials

Course Reserves is a collection of library and instructor-owned materials intended for short-term loan and usually restricted to use within the Library.

Required readings, videos, and other course materials of all formats may be placed in Course Reserves for student and faculty use at any time during the semester.  Faculty may borrow their own materials for extended periods of time as needed.

Textbooks may also be placed on Course Reserves by the course instructor.  The library does not, however, purchase all textbooks for the library's collection.  Textbooks are available for purchase at the Mitchell College Bookstore.

Faculty may complete a Course Reserves Request Form (available below and at the Library) for each course.  Materials are typically added to Course Reserves within one business day.

Most Course Reserves are available for 2 hours at a time for use within the Library.  Overdue fines apply.
