Lending Policies for Faculty & Staff

 

CCALD Reciprocal Borrowing Program

Borrow materials from Connecticut College, the State University system, and more!

Visit the Mitchell College Library to request your CCALD library card by completing a CCALD participation agreement.  With this card, you may visit any of the participating member libraries and utilize their services.  Please review the Member Library Policies for specific information and exclusions.

  • Participation Agreement
    Complete this form and we will keep it on file at the main desk.  You will need to visit the Mitchell College Library to renew your privileges each semester.
  • Member Library Policies
    You are responsible for observing the lending policies of each participating institution.  Please direct specific library policies questions to the participating institution.

Libraries Online, Inc. (LION)

Use your Mitchell College Library card at any of the LION libraries.  We share a catalog as well, so you can always place requests in the catalog and have materials delivered to Mitchell College, free of charge.

  • Member Libraries
    Includes contact information and Library website links.
  • Member Library Policies
    You must have an active Mitchell College Library card with no associated fines in order to use your card at member libraries.  In most cases, member libraries observe their own lending policies; please confirm due dates and fine policies at check-out.
  • Search the LION catalog 
    Use your Library barcode to place requests online, view your Library account, and renew materials borrowed from the Mitchell College Library or any LION library.
