As a natural extension of Critical and Creative Thinking, Problem Solving and Analysis involves determining a way to address or effect change on a particular issue. Students will need to look beyond what already exists, perhaps by studying data, and drawing conclusions based on the information given. Developing an adequate solution or innovative way to tackle an issue of interest requires students to use the skills of cause and effect, sequencing events, and asking ‘why.’
