iPad Help

Borrowing

Availability
Mitchell College Library has iPad Pro 4th Generation and iPad Airs available for loan.  Ask at the library circulation desk. 

Who May Borrow
Only currently enrolled students and actively employed faculty and staff of the Mitchell College community may borrow these items.

Loan Period
iPads may be borrowed for 7 days at a time. (See faculty/staff and student loan policies).

What You Borrow
The iPad is loaned with 1) a protective carrying case 2) a USB cable and 3) a power adapter.  All items must be returned to the library circulation desk. Borrowers will be billed replacement costs for lost or damaged components.  An equipment borrowing agreement must be completed at each checkout.

Replacement Costs for Lost or Damaged iPad

  • borrower understands that all electronic equipment and/or accessories are the property of the Mitchell College.
  • borrower will return all equipment to the library in the same condition in which it was provided.
  • borrower will return all equipment on specified due date.
  • borrower understands that failure to return equipment will result in an overdue fine.
  • borrower is responsible for the replacement cost for equipment that is lost, stolen or damaged. Damages include but are not limited to accidents, neglect, or misuse.
  • borrower understands that legal action may be taken for failure to return equipment without proper compensation.

iPad Apps

There are a variety of apps available for the iPad. To learn more about apps see the Apps for Education guide. The library iPad has apps installed. Requests for additional apps may be submitted to the LIS department.
