Moodle

Moodle (Open LMS) is the primary platform for sharing course content.
Request one-on-one orientation with LIS staff (email asklis@mitchell.edu).

Instructors are required to use this platform for the following activities.

Post course syllabus
Setup and utilize Moodle gradebook
Post Mitchell ABE or Signature assignments

Turnitin

Turnitin is a plagiarism detection tool built into Moodle. Find details and how-to in the Moodle Resource Center.

Pre-Semester Checklist

Moodle/Open LMS

Make your course visible to students (instructions)
Upload your syllabus (instructions)
Post an introduction about yourself (a photo with text or a short recorded video works great!)
Send a Quickmail or post an Announcement welcoming students to your class
