An individual who is searching for information about a particular issue will  need to develop ICT Literacy skills to enable her/his effective access and evaluation of available information, both via the open and deep web, and to be able to begin distinguishing the difference among various sources of information, including physical collections held by the Library.  Identifying, evaluating, and organizing information in order to better understand an issue is essential to this theme. FIG groups may explore many current and relevant topics to students’ lives, and also acknowledge and discuss social activist events and movements throughout history. Instructors may incorporate this Ability through the development assignments and projects that leverage the information resources highlighted in this guide.
